CONTINENTAL BREAKFASTS (COMPLEMENTARY)
On Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday mornings, the Grand Tour participants will be treated to a continental breakfast. The breakfasts will be offered to participants of the tour between 5:45 a.m. and 6:15 a.m. each morning at all host accommodations of the tour, or at the various marina pavilions.

AFTERNOON LUNCHES (COMPLEMENTARY)
Thursday

The city of Charlevoix is once again the location for this year's lunch stop for the Grand Tour. After pulling their watercraft onto the beach at Ferry Avenue Park, participant will enjoy the protected waters of Lake Charlevoix as they have a chance to stretch their legs from the morning ride. Picnic tables and a large pavilion shelter will accommodate the Tour. Included on the menu will be party sub sandwiches provided by Subway. Choosing between a variety of sub sandwiches that will be offered, participants will also be able to wash their lunch down with their choice of beverage including pop and/or water and some munchies to boot.

Friday
The Manistee Lions Club will help support this year's Grand Tour as they provide lunch during the second day of the tour. Providing a barbecue at their pavilion shelter located at Douglas Park on the Manistee River, participants will enjoy a welcome break from the longest day of the three-day tour. Providing picnic tables and pavilion shelters Douglas Park makes for an ideal location for the Tour's lunch stop.

Saturday
The Holland Lions Club will support this year's Grand Tour as they provide lunch for the final day of the tour. With 350 miles of water behind us, the participants will enjoy another afternoon barbeque, this time at Dutton Park right after they pull the watercraft from Lake Macatawa.

SPECIAL NOTE:
In addition to the lunches offered on this year's tour, the Grand Tour.ORGanization recommends that participants supplement their meals with quick, easy, and simple snack food items throughout the tour. During this type of tour, it's best to have a number of small snacks throughout the day rather than loading up on one big meal.

DINNERS
Wednesday Evening Dinner and Riders Party (Dutch)
This year's Grand Tour festivities will begin with a kick off dinner party at Anna's Restaurant. The dinner party officially gets underway around 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Anna's is located on Huron Street across from the Municipal Marina, less than a mile from the Aqua Grand Mackinaw Inn & Resort.

Anna's will serve as a convenient meeting place for participants as they anticipate and prepare for this marathon endurance ride. Anna's offers a wonderful bufet plus various menu items.

After dinner, participants are encouraged to visit downtown Mackinaw City. Mackinaw Crossings offers more than 50 Victorian-style retail shops, restaurants, theater, bars, and live entertainment attractions all within a few blocks. Beautiful open-air courtyards with water fountains and colorful walkways will help complement your evening. A free laser light show at the end of the night will cap off the evening activities.

Thursday and Friday Evening Dinners (Dutch)
Each night after the days ride, participants will have the chance to reconvene during dinner to talk about the earlier happenings of the day. Thursday night, participants can eat at the restraunt on the Day's Inn property. In Ludington, dinner plans may include a walk to a neighboring restraunt or a trip into town.

Saturday Evening Dinner (Complementary)
The final festivities of the Grand Tour wind down Saturday evening with an elegant private banquet. Held at the DoubleTree Inn Banquet Center in beautiful Holland, the banquet will mark a fitting end to the "Grandest" of all tours. The evenings festivities begin at 7:00 p.m.

The DoubleTree Inn will prepare dinner especially for the participants of the Grand Tour. Participants will be asked to choose their meal selection when they register for the event. Non-alcoholic beverages including coffee and pop will be served with dinner. For those wishing to wet their whistle with something else, the cash bar will surely be able to meet their needs.

Eppley Fundraiser in Ohio - Monday, May 16, 2011

A special "Thank You" goes out to riders Barb & Dean!  They ran another successful fund raiser for the Grand Tour this past weekend with help from riders Mary Lyn & Jim.  A portion of Barb's report is posted here:

"The rain was horrible but we made it through.  We had about 75 people.  Not as much as we expected.  There are pix's out there and I hope to be getting some soon.   The fire works, food and band we great!   The bird (chicken s**t bingo) did his job!...  Mary Lyn and Jim were a great help and with out them it would not have gone as  smoothly.  We are still collecting donations.  ...So better than last year!"
